About Innerholm

I built this because I needed somewhere to be honest with myself. Nowhere felt private enough.

Innerholm is made by one person, Jordan.

I started it because I kept journals in apps that turned out to be reading them, or at least, built so they could. The page looked like a notebook. The architecture wasn’t.

I wanted something that felt private the way paper feels private. Not because the data was locked behind jargon, but because the thing was designed, from the first decision, around the assumption that your writing belongs to you.

So I made it small. No team, no investor, no roadmap shaped by engagement metrics. The only people I’m accountable to are the ones who pay for it.

Why just a first name, and no photo.

You get a first name and not much more, because the product should be quieter than the person who made it. If Innerholm is doing its job, you’re thinking about your writing, not about me.

A lot of indie software is sold on the founder’s personality. That’s fine. It’s just not what this is. Innerholm is a place to write, not a story about someone who built a place to write.

What it’s for.

A journal for every chapter of your life. Not a tool that optimizes you. Not a second brain. Not a productivity system with a daily page. A place to think, quietly, in full sentences, over years.

The writing stays yours. The server doesn’t train on it. The company doesn’t sell it. There’s one business model: you pay, you get the product.

Say hello.

If you have a question, a bug, or something you wanted to say: [email protected]. I read all of it.

Between you and the page.
