Frequently asked questions

Will my photos import from Day One?
Photo import is being built now and will be available in a future update. Your text, tags, starred status, weather, and dates all import today. Photos included in the ZIP are preserved in the archive and will be linked automatically when photo support ships.
What happens to my Rich Text formatting from Day One?
Innerholm imports the Markdown plain-text field from Day One's JSON export (the text field), which preserves headings, bold, italic, and lists. Day One's proprietary richText field is not used. In practice, the Markdown field contains the full entry text for almost all users.
Can I undo the import if something looks wrong?
Not automatically, but you can delete entries individually or in bulk from Innerholm's timeline. If you imported a test batch and want to start fresh, contact support and we can clear imported entries for you.
